In February, the Loyola University New Orleans members held their first Mardi Gras Food Drive to support Iggy's Cupboard. Iggy's Cupboard was created November 13, 2018 as the official Loyola University pantry to address the issue of food insecurity on Loyola's campus among students, faculty, and staff. The cupboard provides non-perishable food items and other essentials to any member of Loyola's community that may need help. Members deemed the event a success and plan to participate in future food drives.
Georgia Southern chapter service chair Libby Hartley was featured on the front page of the Statesboro Herald in Statesboro, Georgia. She was representing Phi Eta Sigma at the annual ArtsFest on the Georgia Southern campus. According to chapter adviser Chris Caplinger, "It's an event beloved by generations of kids and parents, and no small number of Georgia Southern students, too."

Check out the service learning project that the Phi Eta Sigma members of Robert Morris University Illinois participated in during January 2016. They made fleece blankets for the homeless! Their women's golf team (whom chapter President Brooke Schwandt is also a member) delivered the blankets to #lunchbag Chicago where the blankets were included in care packages for the homeless of Chicago.
